This Privacy Policy sets out how personal data is processed through the 0 Promil mobile application and the 0promil.com website (the "Platform"), operated by 0 Promil ("the Company", "we").

0 Promil is a digital platform that allows users to request a professional driver for their own vehicle when they are unable to drive, or to hire a driver on a long-term basis. By using the Platform you accept the data processing activities described in this policy.

1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you use the Platform, we process the following categories of data:

Identity and Contact Data: First and last name, phone number, email address, date of birth.
Location Data: Your pick-up and destination points when you create a trip request, and the route travelled during the trip.
Vehicle Data: Registration plate, make, model and transmission type, as required to perform the service.
Trip and Transaction Data: Trip history, date and time, distance, fare and rating scores.
Payment Data: Payment amount and transaction reference. We do not store your card details; payments are handled by licensed, PCI-DSS compliant payment institutions.
Driver Applicant Data: For driver applicants, licence details, criminal record certificate, references and professional experience.
Security Data: IP address, device identifier, operating system and app version, session logs.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Creating, verifying and managing your account,
Matching you with a driver and delivering the service,
Fulfilling long-term driver hire requests and managing contractual processes,
Processing payments and issuing invoices,
Ensuring trip safety and managing emergencies and incidents,
Responding to support requests and resolving complaints,
Measuring and improving service quality and producing statistical analysis,
Preventing fraud and misuse of the Platform,
Sending campaign and promotional messages where you have given explicit consent,
Meeting our legal obligations and responding to competent authorities.

4. Legal Bases

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract to which you are a party, compliance with a legal obligation, establishment or defence of legal claims, our legitimate interests, and your explicit consent where required.

5. Use of Location Data

Location data is fundamental to the service and is processed only while you have an active trip request or are actively using the app. You may disable location permissions at any time in your device settings; however, the driver-matching service cannot technically operate without them.

6. Sharing of Personal Data

Your data may be shared, strictly to the extent necessary to deliver the service, with:

The driver performing your trip (name, contact detail and location data only),
Licensed payment and electronic money institutions,
Our cloud infrastructure, notification and call-centre service providers,
Insurance companies, in the context of incidents and claims,
Competent public authorities, where required by law,
Our accounting and legal advisers.

7. Retention Periods

We retain your data for as long as the processing purpose requires and for the statutory periods prescribed by law:

Account data: While your account is active; erased within 30 days of a deletion request.
Trip and invoice records: 10 years, under Turkish tax and commercial legislation.
Location records: 1 year from completion of the trip.
Support and complaint records: 3 years from closure of the request.

8. Data Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to prevent unlawful processing of and access to your personal data. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, access rights are restricted according to role, system logs are monitored regularly, and our personnel are bound by confidentiality undertakings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at persons under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we determine that we hold data belonging to a user under 18, those records are deleted without delay.

10. Your Right to Delete Your Account

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Account Settings → Delete My Account in the app, or through our Delete Account page. Your request is completed within 30 days of identity verification. Records we are legally required to retain are kept in anonymised form.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed and request information about it,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Turkey or abroad,
Request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data,
Request the erasure or destruction of your data within the conditions set by law,
Request that rectification and erasure be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred,
Object to a result produced solely by automated analysis that is adverse to you,
Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised in line with legislative changes or updates to our services. Material changes will be announced through an in-app notification or by email before they take effect. The update date at the top of this page indicates the version currently in force.
